Radiation Safety
The College's Radiation Safety Program encompasses the New Hampshire Rules for the Control of Radiation. The primary elements of our Radiation Safety Program include written policies and procedures, training and periodic compliance inspections. Strict rules and regulations apply to the use of radioactive materials on the Dartmouth campus.
Radiation Safety Information & Forms
The Dartmouth College Radiation Safety Committee provides oversight and review of the Radiation Safety Program.
All radioactive materials, x-ray producing equipment, and high-powered lasers must be approved by the Radiation Safety Officer and the Radiation Safety Committee prior to acquisition.

X-ray-Producing Equipment Use
All x-ray-producing equipment must be registered with Environmental Health & Safety and the New Hampshire Bureau of Radiological Health.
