Environmental Programs

About the Program

Damp indoor environments caused by water leaks, floods, or high humidity can lead to the growth of mold and other microbial organisms on building materials.  The key to controlling mold is removing the source of moisture. Stopping and reporting leaks is important to reducing mold growth. Uncontrolled mold and microbial growth and related exposure can be associated with health symptoms. For individuals who are sensitive to microbial growth, exposure can cause symptoms such as congestion, eye irritation, or skin irritation.n.

If you identify a water leak or see mold growth in your building, report it to FO&M through the work order system.m.

Contact EHS at 603-646-1762 if you have health concerns about mold and microbial growth.
